BARILOCHE BY NIGHT

Bariloche eight discos - some with the latest laser light display -, various pubs and restaurants with night shows offer many kids of rhythms for the keen dancer.
These discos have invested heavily in architecture and equipment to provide a fantastic display: mirrored dance floors, wood furnishings, lakeside views, different alleys and hydraulically elevated areas for special shows and parades. The stages and dance floors are equipped with the latest sound system, digital light display and special effects such as ground floor smoke and video images projected on giant screens.
Among the many options, one can see the laser displays, have the barman concoct an exclusive drink or have a midnight meal.

The local Casino has fifteen roulette, twelve chemin de for tables and sixty money machines. A fine modern architecture and trained personal attention make it one of the most important of South America.

Several artistic and musical events, cinema, dinner shows, pools and pubs are available to enjoy Bariloche´s never ending night life.

Bariloche is prepared to host anybody interested in good eating. More than a hundred eating houses include: restaurants of international cuisine quality, barbecues, smoked meat houses, pasta and pizza houses, pubs and tea Rooms. Tourists can enjoy the traditional fondues, stimulating goulashes and typical smoked trout, wild boar, deer and cheese during their holiday at any hour of the day. Recommended typical dishes are: red meat and chicken with local mushroom sauce, trout in papillote, with whine or butter sauce. A variety of pastas or expert barbecued beef complete the menu. Several desserts such as crepes suzettes and home made cakes decorated with raspberry, currant, boysenberry or rose hip sauce are the delights of this area.

The many festivities and local events are good excuses to toast with the well known southern wines or champagnes produced in the province of Río Negro. For a special occasion you can try the "curanto", the traditional Mapuche meal, cooked in a hole in the ground. American, continental and German breakfast are provided, specialized home made breads and cakes are always served with jams made of the local berries. On other occasions one can have an array of locally smoked meats and pates accompanied by draft beer.
