BEYOND THE CONTINENT IN SOUTHERN PATAGONIA

Named by Ferdinand Magellan and his crew during their historic first voyage around the globe, Tierra del Fuego is an enormous island at the very tip of the continent, the largest island in South America. Fly fishermen are in seventh heaven here. South across the Beagle Channel is Puerto Williams, the only settlement on Navarino Island and the most southerly town in the world.
