Torres del Paine National Park is located at the end of the world in the southernmost region in Patagonia. The Torres del Paine National Park, offers outstanding natural sceneries and incredible landscapes.

Torres del Paine National Park covers 181.000 hectares on the Seno de Ultima Esperanza (Last Hope Inlet). The park is located 150 kilometers from Puerto Natales.

Traveling across large steppes blown by the wind, it reaches the stately mountains of the Torres del Paine along lakes of different colors, glaciers and a unique flora and fauna. That is why, thousand of tourists arrive at the end of the world, enjoying the natural spectacular provided by the twelve hectares of the Torres del Paine National Park, declared World Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO.

The trails of the park go through native forest along lakes with flamingoes and black necked swan. From time to time, foxes and condors gliding on the sky can be seen during the excursions. Highlights include a full day walk to the base of the Towers, going through a trail by the river that concludes at the Paine Lake with an unparalleled view, a full day excursion to Lake Grey nestled within an amazing cold forest of millenary lenga tree forest, to enjoy the drifting floes of different shapes and colors along the extensive beach framed by its 340 km long glacier, and a possible walk to the glacier, the second largest continental ice field of the world.

Other remarkable excursion is to reach to the Nordesnsköld lookout following a trail on shore the lake Pehoe. When approaching to the fall, the noise of the Salto Grande turns louder and louder. The ride concludes in front of the French Valley, the lake and Nordenskjöld lookout.

There are seven guard stations in Torres del Paine National Park, the largest being the Administrative Center. Hikes, camping, mountain climbing, fishing and horseback riding excursiones can be arranged from these sites. There are refugios (simple wooden shelters) throughout the park for overnigh accomodations.

Traveling to the Torres del Paine may be carried out on different ways subject to the resources available: five star hotels with spa and delicious cuisine, family cozy hostels or camping sites.

CLIMATE IN TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK
The park has a trans-Andean climate, and in the higher parts, an ice climate. The seasons with the best conditions are spring and summer. The average temperature in summer is 10-18°c, up to a maximum of 23-25 °cs. The minimum in summer is 0 – 8 celsius.
