The
following suggestions ensures the best opportunity of surviving for a
released fish:
Do
not exhaust the fish
Use the leader or the thickest monofilament as possible
Try to touch it as less as possible
If you have to hold it, do not stick fingers or any objects in the gill´s
cavity
If the fish find difficulties to recovery, place it facing the current
and move it softly backward and forward, alternatively, so the water can
come in through its mouth and out from its gills.
Do not hit it and do not throw it. Always let the fish scape on its own
way after recovering.Ç
