# 135 - ARGENTINEAN NORTHWEST and ATACAMA DESERT (Talampaya, Moon Valley, Tucuman, Salta, Jujuy, Atacama Desert) - 12 nights

Itinerary day by day:

DAY 1 - BUENOS AIRES - SAN JUAN
Arrival to San Juan Airport and transfer to Hotel. 01 nights of accommodatoin with breakfast. In the afternoon, city tour visiting the best of the city.

DAY 2 - TALAMPAYA NATIONAL PARK / MOON VALLEY (Valle de la Luna)
After breakfast, we will start a trip to Ischigualasto Park, called Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley). We will enjoy this strange rock formations. Later, we continue to visit the Talapaya Canyon (Talampaya National Park). We continue to La Rioja City. Overnight

DAY 3 - LA RIOJA - CATAMARCA - TUCUMAN
After breakfast, We will visit Catamarca City and the Cuesta del Portezuelo. Later, we continue to San Miguel de Tucuman, 01 nt of accommodatoin with breakfast

DAY 4 - TUCUMAN - TAFI DEL VALLE - CAFAYATE
After breakfast, we will start a trip to visit the Quebrada de los Sosa, the Indian Monument, Los Menhires Park. Arrival to Tafi del Valle. After breakfast, we start excursion to the Aconquija Massif, and visit the Abra del Infiernillo (the Hell Canyon), +3000 meters over sea level. We will travel along the Valles Calchaquies (Calchaquies Valleys), Amaicha del Valle and Cafayate. Accommodation in a Wine Resort. 01 night

DAY 5 - CAFAYATE - SALTA
Free time to enjoy this winery area. Later, we will visit Quebrada de las Conchas, Valle de Lerma (Lerma Valley) and aririve to Salta. 03 nts of accommodation with breakfast

DAY 6 - SALTA
After breakfast, city tour visiting the best of Salta. We will visit San Lorenzo, a summer village located close to the city.

DAY 7 - SALTA - TRAIN TO THE CLOUDS
After breakfast, we will start other incredible excursion: Train to the Clouds. Please check Train to the Clouds has fixed departures.

DAY 8 - SALTA - HUMAHUACA CANYON - PURMAMARCA
After breakfast, we start one of the most impressive places in the northwest; HUMAHUACA CANYON, declared a UNESCO World Heritage. . We will visit Tumbaya and Purmamarca with the multi-colored hill. Later, Maimara, Tilcara and it`s Pucarà; Huacalera, and Quia. We will arrive to Humahuaca. We can enjoy the Market, the Church and the Cabildo. Overnight in Purmamarca, in front of the "Seven Colours Hill"

DAY 9 - PURMAMARCA - PASO DE JAMA - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
After breakfast, we start driving to cross the border and continue to Chile. Arrival to San Pedro de Atacama. Transfer to hotel. 03 nights of accommodation with breakfast.

DAY 10 - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA - ATACAMA DESERT
After breakfast, start excursion to visit Atacama Desert and Moon Valley. We visit the Salar de Atacama (Atacama Salt Flat) with Chaxas and Barros Negros lagoons. We visit Toconao and Valle de Jeri.

DAY 11 - TATYO GEISERS
After breakfast, start excursion to visit the Tatyo Geisers, a natural environment with geoterman energy. Return to San Pedro de Atacama.

DAY 12 - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA - CALAMA - SANTIAGO
After breakfast, transfer to airport to take flight to Santiago de Chile.
